Stephen Kampa has been playing harmonica for fifteen years and was named the 2012 Florida Harmonica Championships Overall Champion. He has worked as the harmonica player for a variety of bands, including Robert “Top” Thomas & the Swamp Kings, Trae Pierce & the T-Stone, Surround Sound, Victor Wainwright & the WildRoots, and the Highway Flyers. He has also worked as a session player for WildRoots Records. His playing can be heard on Robert “Top” Thomas’s debut album, The Town Crier, and on Victor Wainwright’s latest release, Boom Town, currently available on Blind Pig Records.
